Opera has launched new update for the new Opera 10 called Opera Turbo. (blog link)
A server-side optimization and compression technology that provides significant improvements in browsing speeds over limited-bandwidth connections by compressing network traffic.
This can be very useful for limited bandwidth especially in Indonesia 
One of the techniques is to lower the image resolution, here are the examples from my blog:

But the image compression isn’t applied when the image is in main content. Well I think this is a good strategy.
When we create new image with image editing software, such as Photoshop or Fireworks, we should decide the resolution of image. Some of us will confused which resolution: usually 72 dpi or 300 dpi. Well, this is an explanation about it.
