AutoCAD tips: Plot Style Table Editor

Use Plot Style Table Editor to modify the printed color of objects.

The case: I have drawings (from AutoCAD sample file) with various color like this

I want to print it in grayscale, the problem is when the light color, like light green and light blue in this drawing will be printed in light gray and the result will be seen unclear.

To get darker result, open Page Setup window (File -> Page Setup Manager… -> Modify…) or Plot window (File -> Plot…), click the pen icon in Plot style table (pen assignments).

Choose the color you want to edit the printed result. In Properties option, choose other color which is darker, like Black for the darkest result. Click Save As…

Save it with other name. Plot Style Table Editor window

When you want to print or modify the page setup choose the plot style you have saved.
